I was first exposed to ACT as a doctoral student through my research on meditation and mindfulness-based interventions. I’ve attended weekend workshops conducted by Drs. Michael Twohig, Jason Luoma, and Kelly Wilson, and I co-led an ACT workshop on shame with Dr. Luoma. As a psychologist resident at Portland Psychotherapy, I’m currently involved in ACT-related research and am receiving weekly ACT supervision from Dr. Luoma.

I work with adults and specialize in trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, guilt/shame, and problems with emotional reactivity. I also work with depression, addiction, LGBT, and relationship issues. I cannot accept insurance at the moment but offer sliding scale discounts to those in financial need. I’m especially willing to lower my fee for individuals seeking treatment related to trauma.
