  • Secular Organizations of Sobriety (SOS) is a non-religious/non-spiritually based support group for people with addictions. Information about SOS can be found at:
  • Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is one of the oldest peer support groups in the U.S. It is based on the 12-step model of recovery
  • Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a 12-step based peer support group. It is similar to AA, but is typically for individuals with problematic drug use:
  • Dual Recovery Anonymous is a 12-step based peer support group for people with concurrent substance use and mental health problems
